HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Port Lavaca, Port Oconnor, Point Comfort, Alamo Beach, Olivia, Indianola, Magnolia Beach, Schicke Point, Port Alto, Matagorda Island State Park, and Long Mott. This includes US Highway 87 between mile markers 838 and 840. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Periods of rain, at times heavy, will continue through the weekend.
